The loss of our feisty girl

2014-08-20 15.42.43Today we lost our beloved hen Curtis. We discovered an animal breeched the cage and took her from us. We returned her body to the earth and removed Bella until we can build her a safer coup. For those of you who never met Curtis, she was a feisty hen that made her way to our garden through Denise Moore and Alex Spassoff.  She showed up one day at Denise and Alex’s office and they took her in off the street. The members of the garden gave her a good home and forgave her for her sometimes bloody love pecks. Rest in peace Curtis. You will be missed.
