We’ve moved!

Please excuse our calendar – the time change a couple weeks back seems to have made our calendar times a little crazy. Just know that we’re in the garden on (most) Saturdays from 9am – 12pm, and our monthly meetings are at 6:30pm on the 3rd Monday of the month.
Oh technology…

We’ve planted dozens of okra plants to take us through the summer. We’ve even harvested a couple of okra! And so it begins…
Join us for our May planning meeting at 6:30pm on Monday, May 15th. We meet at the Seminole Heights Branch Library located at the corner of Osborne and Central. This month we’ll likely discuss fundraising for the garden, and we’re open to hearing ideas both new and tried-and-true. So please join us Monday to share your thoughts! Everyone is welcome!
Check out the article published by TBO about our lovely garden.
Thanks to Denise and all of those who donated items to our garage sale fundraiser. We were able to raise another $175 for the garden. Every little bit helps so we appreciate it!
Today we lost our beloved hen Curtis. We discovered an animal breeched the cage and took her from us. We returned her body to the earth and removed Bella until we can build her a safer coup. For those of you who never met Curtis, she was a feisty hen that made her way to our garden through Denise Moore and Alex Spassoff. She showed up one day at Denise and Alex’s office and they took her in off the street. The members of the garden gave her a good home and forgave her for her sometimes bloody love pecks. Rest in peace Curtis. You will be missed.
Please join us to hear the very exciting news about the garden. This is an opportunity to learn about how the garden is growing as well as become the first members at the new garden on Highland. We have some special announcements that you will only hear at this meeting. We look forward to seeing you!
As the garden grows we want to create a nice history of all the work we are doing and how far we have come. Our newest addition to the website is a photo blog. This is still a work in progress but we encourage you to check it out and share your comments with us!
